Right behind this guy's head, the bird is humping one of his toys. it killed the very grave mood of this demagogue rather quickly, if I do say so myself.

He's probably right about some of these things. I'm not a conspiracy guy, but even I believe that the United States did some very fishy dealings during 9/11. Frankly, however, it wasn't an inside job: it was a hijack. It works like so.

CIA Intelligence breaks it to their superiors that this is going down. Whoever is actually in charge of this country realizes that this is a brilliant way to turn the tides of public opinion, get America into the Middle East, set the current Republican regime up as heroes, and so on. So they not only let it happen, they exacerbated it for effect and control. The terrorists thought they were doing something brilliant and unexpected. The reality? They were patsies. Like when you let your kid lick the electrical socket in complete defiance of you, but in reality, you`re the one asserting your control and supreme intelligence.

I believe this happens all the time. I believe there are many instances in which Intelligence discovers something rather terrible about to go down and, instead of preventing it, they hijack it, and use it for public relations and effective power manipulation.

Seriously, who cares about five thousand lives when you have a chance to take proper control o 300 million people.
